THE CHALLENGE

Launch the program’s second season, engage its existing audience and attract a new one, all without giving anything away from Season 1. Host a launch event for press, media and SXSW attendees that alludes to the show’s con artist storyline, while entertaining and enticing them about Season 2’s new twists and turns.

 

THE SOLUTION

A Cocktails & Cons cocktail party where nothing was quite as it seemed. Passed hors d'oeuvres looked like one thing but tasted entirely different subverted guests’ taste buds and expectations. Have you ever had duck fat french fries made out of almond cake with vanilla cream? Immersive vignettes invited guests to put their con artist skills to the test. From changing their appearance and going incognito, to pick-pocketing mannequins and finishing with a seduction selfie, we guests stepped into the shoes of the show characters. Flo Rida closed the evening with a surprise live performance.
