We are a growing boutique creative experiential agency based in New York, seeking a few core team members to round out our existing team and help strengthen our design and production services.

 


 

Art Director

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Creative, Business Development, Production and Technical team members to create remarkable client experiences
  • Play a crucial role in concept development and pitch process
  • Conceptualize and design brand experiences including; set design, signage, signage, print collateral, etc.
  • Seamlessly shift between high-level concept development to nitty gritty design production
  • Communicate design intent to management and client
  • Develop set or exhibit designs based on their evaluation of scripts or of artifacts to be exhibited, budgets, and location
  • Collaborate with directors, curators, clients, other designers, and production staff on specific design features
  • Consult with strategists, producers, and clients to identify the intended audience to determine creative directions
  • Prepare hand-drawn sketches and mood boards
  • Prepare and package print ready graphic files for printers and vendors, taking into account color codes, materials, print styles etc

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic or interior design or equivalent work experience
  • Proven portfolio of exceptional set design, interior design and/or exhibit sketches, print and campaign work (3D and CAD/vectorworks a plus)
  • 1 – 3+ years of professional experience in an experiential marketing, event production, advertising, marketing or design capacity
  • Strong typographic skills and concrete understanding of composition and color theory
  • An ability to effectively present ideas both verbally and visually
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills with people at all levels of a company
  • A passion for designing the best possible user experiences
  • Ability to self-start, manage your own time, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Desire to work on many different types of projects, often several at once
  • Ability to travel when needed and work on-site

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS5+ tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Keynote
  • Structural sketching skills
  • Solid layout skills
  • Presentation skills

Senior Producer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with generating new sales leads & client projects
  • Creative ideation for new Programs
  • Lead day to day Client relations/needs/tasks on projects – multiple projects at times
  • Lead the creation and ongoing management of budgets and SOW’s for client projects
  • Hire (when needed) and Manage a team of Producers and Junior Producers per project, creating the staffing plan to ensure appropriate staffing from both internal teams and external freelancers/sub-contractors
  • Work closely with Director of Production to ensure all client estimates are accurate and profitable
  • Work with Production Team and accounting to ensure all invoices/expenses are submitted in a timely manner etc.
  • Work with accounting to make sure all invoices are correct and being sent to the client per the terms of the SOW (and that we receive the payment)
  • Source new vendors, team members, freelancers etc. as needed throughout projects
  • Manage production team and entire program from concept to completion:
      • Scope of Work
      • Certificates of Insurance
      • Budgets
      • Event Manuals
      • Processing receipts/ expenses
      • Per Diems
      • Staffing & Pay
      • Event Recaps
      • Budget Reconciliation
      • Etc.
  • Ensure all deadlines are being met by team – Status reports, budgets, internal processes, production, print etc.
  • Ensure team is recapping all meetings/ conference calls
  • Oversee team to coordinate all event logistics
  • Book Travel/ Accommodations if needed
  • Provide updates to Director of Production in real time on progress of event, issues, concerns etc.
  • Manage na collective team and all facets of event onsite including onsite staffing
  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clients
  • Sit in on interviews for potential new members of the team
  • Ensure you and you’re team are meeting/following company systems & protocols on every project

Producer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creative ideation for new Programs

  • Recap all meetings/ conference calls
  • Coordinate all event logistics
  • Book Travel/ Accommodations if needed
  • Staffing (brief staffing agency, host auditions, post ads, interview, etc.)
  • Provide updates to Director of Production in real time on progress of event, issues, concerns etc.
  • Manage all facets of event onsite
  • Manage all staff/ labor
  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clients
  • Sit in on interviews for potential new members of the team
  • Ensure you’re meeting/following company systems & protocols on every project

Intern

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Intern will be hired to actively assist team in all facets of daily operation and execution of client events.

Specifically the Intern’s responsibilities will include:

  • Office administration tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking notes during meetings, creating & submitting expense reports and event pertaining errands
  • Assist Partners with scheduling work related travel plans & meetings
  • Assist Producers in vendor research and quote requests
  • Assist Producers with event execution
    • Creating & organizing event binders and documents
    • Sourcing any/all needed elements
    • Developing training manuals and various program decks
    • Creating detailed excel documents tracking event assets (laptops, uniforms etc.)
  • Assist Creative Team with image researching and resource purchasing (such as inspirational books and other needs)

Duties:

  • 2 – 3 Days Per Week (or 16 – 24 hours per week)
  • Working in exchange for school credit or Stipend if credit is not possible
  • Timing: Summer/Fall
